The full moon has risen. Your heart is pounding. Monsters have shown themselves, and turned the city into a living nightmare. The world doesn’t make sense anymore. The only thing that does, is your will to survive.
Moonlit Cries is a unique 3D fighting game, with fast-paced gameplay, and the ability to temporarily change into a beastly form to shift up combat.
Our Story
Welcome to Las Huellas, the Twilight City. It’s normally an unremarkable place, despite the intriguing name, easily replaceable with any other location if anyone wanted a taste of the urban life.
But tonight, it’s the setting for a tragedy in the making, and a fight for survival.
An unknown power surges through certain people, causing them to change into powerful monsters. The playable characters are some of the people affected, as they either try to solve the mystery behind it, or to escape the consequences of their ghastly metamorphosis.

Alma
Exhilarating, frightening– Is this how it feels for superheroes in comics when they discover their super powers? Or do their villains feel this way?

Imperati
A man who finds himself sinking lower and lower under the weight of his alternate form. He’s the mayor of Las Huellas as it experiences a disaster. The stress of that alone would be enough to melt a person down to a puddle, but it seems to be happening literally to him.
Beckner
Cursed being from a cursed bloodline. If there were any monsters in this world, he figured they were related by the very same blood. But the appearance of monsters all concentrated within the city of Las Huellas has drawn his attention.

About the story
I’m not exactly sure what I’d classify the genre of Moonlit Cries, other than a fighting game of course. It’s not exactly fantasy, as it takes place on Earth. Maybe sci-fi? I’m not sure, but I’m a fan of the grounded feeling of it.
Characters fight in familiar places in a city, such as a highway overpass, a fenced-off area in front of a train yard, as well as some more exotic places such as the mayor’s office in city hall, or a scary-looking laboratory. The environments do have some cinematic kills associated with them if you know how to activate them, like in Mortal Kombat. For example in the overpass level, you can knock off your opponent to fall to the highway below. There’s fog obscuring the bottom, but you can assume by the headlights that they get run over in addition to the fall.
